Hong Kong-based personal finance comparison platform has launched its first TV commercial in partnership with recently appointed creative agency Ogilvy & Mather.

The account spans the Asia region with a specific focus on in Hong Kong as well as CompareAsiaGroup brands in Taiwan and Singapore. Launched in September, the TV spot stresses the importance of taking one’s time when making big, life-changing decisions.

The concept is built on its strategic positioning “your first choice is not always your best choice”, humorously featuring the consequences of a hasty marriage.

In creating this TV commercial, sends a message to consumers to do their research and get the best results to avoid any unwanted consequences.

Reed Collins, chief creative officer at Ogilvy & Mather Group, said: “With this TV commercial, we wanted to do something that not only amuses and entertains viewers, but also sends a firm message, which is to research and compare before making important decisions.”
