In a fun initiative, Red Bull has launched a new activation in Singapore, to give “wings to consumer’s dreams and aspirations in the coming new year.”
Every year people make resolutions around new year’s – however, these resolutions are seldom kept – so Red Bull decided to witness failures, year after year.
“After all, sometimes it just takes too much strength, too much dedication and maybe too much energy to keep that special resolution,” the company says. Taking away the seriousness and negative aura, Red Bull is looking to give New Year’s Resolutions a funny and light hearted twist, and though its well-loved cartoon characters.
This campaign is now LIVE and will continue to generate resolutions into the new year. Check it out here.
Sitting at the very heart of the campaign is the microsite, which features a very strong activation tool in the form of a CARTOON GENERATOR where consumers can create a customised cartoon avatar of themselves and share their 2015 resolution with friends via their social channels.
They also stand a chance to be surprised with a special New Year Resolution package sent to their doorsteps, to get their new year off to a flying start. The campaign mainly uses digital channels and will be made public via in Store POS, social posts and digital display advertising.
