Lowe Profero, the global digital network of Lowe and Partners, has appointed digital media specialist Ed McElvain (pictured) to the newly created position of media strategy director for the Asia-Pacific region.
The news follows the announcement of Phil Ely’s promotion to Lowe Profero APAC Head of Communications in February of this year.
Effective immediately, the role will see McElvain work closely with Phil to oversee Lowe Profero’s media performance clients and products across APAC. Ed will be based in Lowe Profero’s Shanghai offices with a view to expanding the agency’s integrated media offering across the region.
Prior to this role Ed held the position of digital planning director for JWT Shanghai, having previously held a number of senior media roles for Profero in North America.
Lowe Profero’s APAC head of communications Phil Ely said Ed was an amazing talent that he was excited to welcome back into the Lowe Profero fold.
“Clients are repeatedly requesting an integrated creative, technology and media offering, and Ed’s appointment offers a great addition to our already comprehensive brand,” he said.
