Marketing communications and advertising group The Mission Marketing Group has agreed to acquire 70% of the digitally-led marketing services agency group, Splash Interactive. With several regional offices, Splash works with some of the leading client companies, including local and multi-national banks.Poppy Robinson, regional director at Mission agency, Bray Leino in Singapore, said:  “Splash is the perfect fit for us - whilst its core offering is digital it will provide us with the platform to build our marketing services expertise across Asia Pacific markets. In effect, this deal works for us on many fronts. On the one hand, it will work closely with our digital teams in our UK agencies to provide resources and, on the other they will represent the many agency clients who are eager for us to deliver our services in the region.”Lee Kuok Ming, Splash CEO added: “We had been looking to partner with a European group for some time and had received a number of offers but this one really worked for us. The synergies are unlimited and we believe that with the help and resources of Bray Leino and The Mission Marketing Group, we can develop our business far quicker than would be the case on our own.”Bray Leino will re-brand its Asia Pacific business as ‘Bray Leino Splash’ with immediate effect and plans are already afoot to incorporate a similar strategy for other Mission Agencies.David Morgan, group chairman for The Mission Marketing Group added: “This is a truly client-led initiative in that for a number of our clients we are already delivering campaigns in the region and this acquisition can only help them benefit from Splash’s market knowledge and region reach. ”
