LinkedIn has appointed McCann as its global creative agency of record. In a statement, a LinkedIn spokesperson said its work with McCann will explore ways to engage members and customers in more "creative and imaginative ways".

The appointment also comes as LinkedIn looks to expand its agency partnerships to drive deeper member and customer engagement.

The appointment follows two recent changes to LinkedIn's agency lineup. In April, LinkedIn handed global media duties to Publicis Media. A month earlier, it appointed R/GA as its global strategic creative agency for LinkedIn Ads.

The moves follow Jessica Jensen's appointment as LinkedIn chief marketing and strategy officer earlier this year. In her new role, Jensen will lead the team responsible for global marketing, brand and corporate strategy, LinkedIn said.

Prior to LinkedIn, Jensen served as the CMO for Indeed where she was responsible for brand, communication, product and acquisition marketing globally.
