Lenovo has appointed Nick Reynolds as its chief marketing officer for the Asia Pacific region.
As the CMO, Reynolds oversees branding, demand-generation, digital marketing, public relations and social media for Lenovo across Asia Pacific’s diverse markets. He is based in Sydney.
Previously, he led marketing for Lenovo’s Asia Pacific Mature Markets group covering ANZ and Japan. In that role, he was instrumental in driving the successful launch of Lenovo’s consumer brand in ANZ, which saw Lenovo’s consumer notebook PC market share grow from zero to 8.9% within three months.
Prior to this role, he served as the executive director for Worldwide Product Launch responsible for consumer products across PCs, tablets, smartphones and smart TVs. Under his leadership, his team successfully launched several of Lenovo’s milestone innovations including Ultrabooks and convertibles, and amplified brand consideration for the company across the world.
Reynolds joined Lenovo in 2007, coming with experience from markets such as Dell, Apple, Gateway and SABRE.
