LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is turning this year’s BRICKFEST into a football-themed playground, transforming the park into an immersive arena inspired by global football fever.
Running from 22 May to 19 July 2026, BRICKFEST 2026: Football Edition invites families into a hands-on experience built around the theme “Journey of becoming a football star”, where creativity, teamwork and sport collide through LEGO-driven challenges across the resort.
Visitors begin their journey at the “Brick Kick-Off” station, where they receive 'Mission cards' that guide them through a series of football-inspired activity zones designed to test agility, imagination and problem-solving skills.
“Football is usually something families watch together, but BRICKFEST is designed to let them become part of the action,” said Cs Lim, vice president of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. The event, he added, blends the energy of the football season with LEGO play to help families build shared memories through competition and creativity.

Across the park, guests can take on a range of interactive experiences. These include the Brick-tastic Arena, where players dribble through LEGO-themed obstacles; the Brick Strike Challenge, which tests accuracy in goal-scoring; and Build-A-Football, where visitors construct their own LEGO mini football.
Other highlights include the LEGO Jersey Mural, a collaborative build featuring jersey-inspired bricks; Brick Table Football, a mechanical LEGO striker game; and Build-A-Trophy, where children design their own victory creations. Guests can also take on the fast-paced 6 Bricks Challenge or capture celebratory moments at Spin Like a Striker, a 360-degree photo experience.
The football atmosphere extends beyond the activity zones with daily entertainment at The Beginning Stage, including opening and farewell performances that frame each day’s experiences. Additional shows such as Brick Bash & Mix and LEGO Trophy Chase add momentum to the park’s football-inspired programming, combining storytelling, movement and interactive play.
Adding to the festive energy, visitors can also meet Brick Suit Girl and Brick Suit Boy, new mascots created for the event who embody the playful spirit of BRICKFEST 2026.
Beyond the activities, guests spending RM199 and above in a single receipt can participate in the “Goal to Win” lucky draw, with winners announced daily after the farewell show.
In a nod to local football pride, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will also unveil a LEGO recreation of Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in MINILAND, featuring Johor’s football team built entirely from LEGO bricks, reinforcing the event’s blend of sport, culture and creativity.
This month, LEGOLAND Malaysia also entered a partnership with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) through a a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen rail tourism, improve public mobility and drive domestic and international tourism to Malaysia’s southern corridor.
The partnership is aimed at encouraging more Malaysians to use KTMB’s Electric Train Service (ETS) when travelling to Johor, particularly for family leisure and tourism.
As part of the collaboration, KTMB and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort are offering ETS users a 35% discount on LEGOLAND Malaysia day tickets across all travel sectors. The offer runs from 21 May to 21 November 2026.
