L’Oréal has appointed Marc Dicko (pictured left) as chief digital and marketing officer (CDMO) for its South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (SAPMENA) Zone, effective 1 September 2026.

Based in Singapore, Dicko will report to L’Oréal SAPMENA president Vismay Sharma and oversee the zone’s digital, eCommerce and marketing strategy across more than 35 markets.

The SAPMENA Zone represents more than three billion consumers across markets spanning from New Zealand to Morocco.

Dicko has been with L’Oréal for 15 years, holding digital, eCommerce and leadership roles across the group’s Global Division, North Asia, Canada and SAPMENA.

Prior to his new role, he served as CDMO for L’Oréal Canada, where he was responsible for growing the group’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, strengthening its position in indirect eCommerce and integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into business operations and consumer journeys.

Dicko succeeds Lex Bradshaw-Zanger (pictured right), who has led L’Oréal’s regional digital, marketing and eCommerce function since 2023.

During his tenure, Bradshaw-Zanger drove eCommerce growth across the zone and led the Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, L’Oréal’s flagship initiative focused on open innovation.

He will now move into a newly created role focused on transforming SAPMENA’s regional capabilities across marketing and commercial services. The role will focus on emerging technologies, data and analytics, and AI to support growth across the region.

The SAPMENA Zone was established in 2021 and comprises 13 entities and 35 markets. It serves as a global talent hub for L’Oréal and covers markets across South Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa.

The appointment comes as L’Oréal continues to scale regional marketing initiatives across SAPMENA. In June, the group launched the third edition of its global “Join the refill movement” campaign across the zone, spanning skincare, fragrance, makeup and haircare and involving brands including Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Armani Beauty, Lancôme, Kiehl’s, La Roche-Posay, CeraVe and Kérastase.
