Klareco Communications has strengthened its senior management team by promoting partner Dau Ming Seling (pictured left) to managing director of Klareco's Malaysia office, and director Chelsea Phua (pictured right) as partner for its Singapore office.
Seling's 18 years in brand and corporate communications in Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia has included leading the in-house teams at public listed companies including Malaysia’s stock exchange. According to the press statement, the agency has been advising state-owned enterprises and private companies in Malaysia.
"We are already demonstrating how insightful and data-driven narratives elevate the value of the brands we support. I look forward to further building on our existing portfolio of work to take on often complex subjects and convey their essence clearly and decisively," Seling said.
Meanwhile, Phua has been with Klareco for six years, during which she has been involved in capital market transactions, including the privatisation of SMRT. Phua has also played a crucial role in developing the firm's leading fintech and digital innovation practice.
"I have seen the company experience rapid growth to a 50-strong team across Asia, with a network of offices and affiliates. Throughout, we have kept our focus on doing our best for our clients and preserving the quality of our work across our corporate, financial, public affairs, digital and crisis practices," Phua said.
Group CEO Ang Shih-Huei said that as an independent, employee-owned company, Klareco is demonstrating its commitment to ensuring it identifies and invests in the talent that is behind its continuing expansion.
"I commend the dedication and valuable contribution that Seling and Phua have made to the business," Ang addeaged.
