Kinetic Worldwide, WPP’s OOH media buying arm, has made a new senior appointment and two promotions to its Malaysian and Singaporean operations.
Manjiri Kamat joins Kinetic as managing director of Malaysia and Singapore and will be based in Kuala Lumpur. Kamat has over 22 years of experience in the advertising and communications industry, and has held various leadership positions within WPP itself.
King F. Lai, Kinetic APAC CEO, said that Kamat, with a “proven track record for building successful brands” is indeed a “hugely desirable addition to [Kinetic Worldwide’s] senior management team.”
In addition, Mazuin Kamalbashah has been promoted to general manager of Kinetic Malaysia, previously helming the Malaysian client team in the company.
Meanwhile, Agnes Law has been promoted to general manager of the Singaporean branch from her previous position as business director.
