JWT Malaysia appoints digital integration director

JWT Malaysia has appointed Nixon Lee to the newly created role of digital integration director.Lee joins the team from XM Malaysia, JWT’s digital agency. Bringing Lee into JWT in a full time role will help the agency in its agenda to drive stronger digital integration into communication strategies and ideation.Lee has 14 years worth of experience in spearheading business continuity execution and strategy direction. He has implemented marketing and creative strategies for a wide range of brands including Hwang DBS, Bursa Malaysia, Tune Group, and Panasonic.“We are pleased to have Nixon on board to help stronger digital integration in every aspect, from ideation and strategy to execution. By the end 2015 we intend to be a full service, digitally-equipped agency and Nixon is only the start,” Nicole Tan, managing director of JWT Malaysia said.Tan added that clients are increasingly asking for digitally integrated ideas and currently many companies in the Malaysia market tend to create separate digital ideas, that are often more tactical and are not able to justify results up the value chain.“However, globally we see that integrated campaigns that deliver a consistent brand messages across all platforms deliver better results. Creative agencies with brand expertise that can lead and integrate campaigns have a critical role to play,” Tan added.
