Marriot International luxury hotel brand JW Marriott has appointed M&C Saatchi to undertake the global creative and strategic duties for the luxury group’s local markets.
The appointment came following a pitch. The pitch was led by M&C Saatchi’s New York office and SS+K, a creative shop it acquired late last year.
M&C Saatchi Australia CEO Jaimes Leggett said: “The JW Marriott brand is a global by-word for luxury so we are excited by this opportunity to partner with them in the Asia Pacific region. This win demonstrates the wherewithal of M&C Saatchi’s worldwide network of offices to work together for major global brands.”
JW Marriott’s strategic partnerships with Aromatherapy Associates, Treasury Wine Estates and globally-renowned nutritionist Keri Glassman form a part of the brand’s recent expansion and upgrade. On top of this, the brand has also opened new hotels.
JW Marriott has 70 locations in eight regions, including a large footprint in Australia and Asia Pacific.
