Johnnie Walker picks VML IM2.0 for China digital duties

VML IM2.0 Shanghai has won the Johnnie Walker digital account following a pitch.

The agency will be responsible for integrating all media platforms (including paid/owned/earned) for Diageo’s whisky brand to adapt to the fast-changing mobile marketing arena.

Commenting on the win, VML IM2.0’s CEO Chris Tung said: “By developing its mobile marketing capabilities, Johnnie Walker hopes to synergise its online and offline resources, and break the barrier between traditional CRM and Social CRM. We look forward to helping them do just that.”

VML IM2.0 is launched mid-October following VML’s acquisition of im2.0 Interactive Group. Two months later the agency launched VML IM2.0 Guangzhou in January 2014.
