Italian luxury coffee brand Lavazza has officially opened its first Hong Kong coffee shop in Central as part of its global expansion.
Leveraging its unique location in Hong Kong's core business district and cultural centre, Lavazza brings its century-old craftsmanship in coffee bean blending techniques and an innovative product portfolio to Hong Kong, integrating "world-class quality coffee" into the bustling daily lives of Hong Kong residents, making each cup of rich aroma a refined touch to life.
This comes as the brand recognised that Hong Kong, one of the world's most mature coffee markets, offers an ideal environment for Lavazza's development with its open and diverse consumer environment and refined lifestyle.
The choice of Central as the location for its first Hong Kong store reflects its unique position as an international financial, commercial, and cultural hub. Connected to a corridor on the third floor of Landmark, the store continues the brand's signature blue, white, and gold color scheme, blending Italian aesthetics with a welcoming atmosphere.
This creates a relaxing space that combines professional quality with a comfortable ambiance, allowing people to enjoy a world-class cup of coffee, embodying a century of craftsmanship, amidst their busy lives.
To celebrate the opening of its first store in Hong Kong, Lavazza not only offers a diverse selection of coffee beans but also meticulously prepared a unique product series and generous opening benefits, inviting Hongkongers to a feast of Italian flavours.
The store features a selection of premium coffee beans from around the globe, including the "Rome Plaza de Flore" coffee bean, inspired by Rome, Italy, which cleverly intertwines natural sweetness with a rich chocolate flavour; 100% Arabica KAFA beans, sourced from the forests of Ethiopia, restore the most authentic and rich aroma of coffee; and seasonal exclusive blends are regularly updated, bringing coffee lovers a continuous stream of taste surprises.
During the opening period, customers can enjoy gifts for spending a certain amount and free cups for checking in on social media platforms, bringing Lavazza's coffee closer to Hong Kong people in a more approachable way.

Founded in Turin in 1895, the family-owned Lavazza has grown into a global coffee icon. Sourced from over 130 regions worldwide, its beans are celebrated for their expertly balanced flavours.
On the other hand, despite global geopolitical tensions, Hong Kong is actively courting European companies from the UK and France to establish a presence in the city. The government's Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) is also in talks with several major overseas pharmaceutical firms, with at least one showing significant interest. OASES director Peter Yan noted that many are attracted by the collaborative potential between Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
