Isentia appoints David Liu as chief executive of Asia

Media intelligence company Isentia has appointed David Liu as chief executive of Asia to drive growth across the region.He replaces Cameron Buckley who is moving from Singapore to Melbourne. Liu will commence his new role on 1 June.With over 28 years of experience in the media and marketing services sectors, Liu has worked at advertising agencies including McCann-Erickson, Bozell and Saatchi & Saatchi.He was non-executive vice chairman of QJY Media Group, a director of CBSO China, and the Asia Pacific CEO of Aegis Media Group where he was appointed a member of the Aegis Global Executive Board in 2001.He managed the Engine group network in Asia where he drove rapid growth in the region for the multi-faceted media and marketing services company.Isentia CEO John Croll said, “Liu has the cross-cultural experience and business acumen to add considerable value to our executive team and ensure that our vision of growth and integration is rigorously pursued across all of our Asian markets.”Liu said, “I’m looking forward to joining Isentia as it continues to define excellence in media intelligence by providing timely and relevant media coverage to clients across 10 countries around Asia and through the depth of insight delivered by its talented people.”Image: Shutterstock
