Ipsos has appointed Lifeng Liu as chairman and CEO of its newly combined Asia Pacific and China region, bringing the region under a single leadership structure.
Liu has been part of the Ipsos leadership team for more than 20 years and will retain his existing position as chairman and CEO of Greater China, which he has held since 2017. He previously served as CEO of Greater China from 2007 to 2010 and CEO of Asia Pacific from 2011 to 2016.
The restructure is part of Ipsos' efforts to simplify its organisation under its Horizons strategy.
“By bringing these markets together we will create a more integrated organisation with greater opportunities to align priorities and support clients operating across the region,” said Ipsos CEO Kelly Beaver.
Hamish Munro, previously CEO of APEC, has been appointed global head of local client organisation.
Munro has led the company's APEC operations for several years and will now take on responsibility for its local client organisation globally.
Liu said he would spend the coming weeks meeting regional leaders to assess market priorities and client needs.
