iProperty’s Malaysia Day initiative aims to help build homes for the less fortunate

IProperty.com.my has collaborated with Epic Homes on a campaign, titled “Rumah Malaysia”, to help build homes for fellow Malaysians in need of one. Epic Homes is a programme designed to develop support networks by bringing together rural and urban folk through the act of building homes.

The collaboration also aims to commemorate Malaysia’s National Day and Malaysia day. The campaign leverages on the insight that although Malaysia is home to 32 million people, not everyone in Malaysia have a roof over their heads.

As part of the campaign, a short promotional video was posted on iProperty.com.my’s Facebook page. Since its posting on 28 August, the video garnered 226 reacts, 46 comments, 66 shares, and 50k views at the time of writing.

From now until 16 September 2018, Malaysians can visit iProperty.com.my’s campaign microsite to share their thoughts, hopes, wishes and dreams for Malaysia. iProperty.com.my will contribute RM5 to Epic Homes for every message posted on the microsite. All proceeds collected from this initiative will go towards building a house for a family in need of a home.

“The collaboration with Epic Homes provides us with the platform to raise awareness towards a cause which is very close to our heart and enable us to contribute towards improving the lives of the people and community in which we are part of,” Wong Siew Lai, general manager, marketing at iProperty.com.my said.

Last year, iProperty.com.my revamped its website to provide a fresh new look aimed at providing a more responsive and unique property experience to consumers.
