IPG Mediabrands ropes in Han

IPG Mediabrands has appointed Phyllis Han as regional communications planning director.

Han will be based in Singapore where she will report directly to Natalie Pidgeon, chief strategy officer, IPG Mediabrands APAC.

She will primarily support the core brands of UM and Initiative focusing on strategy, communications planning, creative output, account management and servicing amongst others.

She will work with IPG Mediabrands’ clients across the region and liaise with Mediabrands regional strategy team, research, tools, analytics and digital disciplines for the agencies roster of clients.

Han (pictured) has had 12 years of multi-national experience and worked in marketing and communication strategy and brand building and management from across a variety of industries and brings to IPG Mediabrands experience from working in Australia, Singapore and China.

Prior to her current role, Han was at Starcom Mediavest China and Singapore where she most recently served as business director, Procter & Gamble, a role she has held since January 2012. Before that, she served as regional communications director, Procter & Gamble.

She has also previously worked with Singapore Tourism Board where she was responsible for brand development and management, global.
