IPG Mediabrands has launched Ansible in Singapore.
Ansible Singapore will be driven by Yi Liang Lim who will report to Jacob Teo, head of digital for IPG Mediabrands Singapore. Teo leads a team of digital specialists who have worked with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Cerebos, Cathay Pacific, Tourism Australia, Sony Pictures, ExxonMobil and PCCW and more.
“It is great news for our clients in Singapore - we can instantly provide them with proprietary mobile technologies, leveraging our global network to provide them a significant competitive advantage,” said Travis Johnson, global president Ansible.
“Having the highest smartphone penetration in the world means that there is significance for a business with a dedicated mobile focus. Marketers are no longer satisfied with paid media solutions only, they are seeking a holistic approach to elevate their relationships with consumers on the platform,” said Lim.
Singapore managing director, David Haddad (pictured) said the new initiative will help clients unlock the full potential of mobile marketing which is now a fundamental connection point between consumers and brands.
Recently, IPG Mediabrands relaunched Ingenuity as Ansible. In Malaysia, Ansible is spearheaded by managing director Manu Gopinathan, who leads a 30-person team comprising designers, web and mobile developers and solution architects. Over the past two years, the team has delivered measurable results for clients across different verticals including retail, telco and banking.
