IPG appoints James Tagg as director of performance marketing

IPG Mediabrands has appointed James Tagg as director of performance marketing, overseeing digital and mobile initiatives for the agency group in Hong Kong.

Tagg’s appointment is effective immediately and he reports to Kelvin Yim, head of performance marketing in Hong Kong.

Tagg joins IPG agency from Havas Media in the UK, where he led the execution of mobile initiatives for key clients including Hyundai, Camelot and PayPal.

Lilian Leong, managing director of IPG Mediabrands Hong Kong, described Tagg as a “digital champion”.

“He is the best fit to drive ROI in digital and mobile marketing and work collaboratively with the marketers that will enhance their business performance and bring competitive advantage to their organizations.”

Tagg added he was excited to be joining the Mediabrands’ team to help drive digital performance marketing offering and develop mobile marketing initiatives for our clients.
