Invisible Kitchen and Impossible Foods launch eco-friendly food truck with revolv

Vegetarian meat-alternative specialists Impossible Foods is partnering with Invisible Kitchen and revolv for its third edition of a month-long plant-based food truck partnership, taking place at Taikoo Place from 17 June to 12 July.

The partnership aims to introduce Hong Kong’s most environmentally-friendly food truck by leveraging Invisible Kitchen’s “Green Policy” on responsible and sustainable catering; Impossible Foods’ meat made from plants; and revolv’s smart reusable food and beverage containers.

To make this month-long event as zero waste as possible, the food truck will provide revolv’s lightweight and durable lunch box on a rental basis. Customers will be able to pay a deposit for the lunch boxes and return the box back to the food truck to receive the full deposit back.

Revolv eliminates single-use plastic derived by the food takeaway industry by providing an alternative – durable reusable containers – to restaurants and consumers. With revolv’s partnership, the event targets to save over 3,000 disposable lunch boxes from going to landfill.

Swire Properties is running a series of events to celebrate the transformation of Taikoo Place from a commercial hub to a working and lifestyle destination.

This Impossible Foods X Invisible Kitchen food truck has come after the Impossible x Honbo charity food truck. More restaurant collaborations will follow in the summer.
