Infoline Tec Group (Infoline) has appointed DNA Creative Communications to lead its social media communications. The appointment extends the agency's partnership that first began with the group's rebrand.
As the appointed agency, DNA Creative Communications will oversee social media strategy and content development, with an aim to establish a stronger voice for Infoline on digital resilience, connecting its expertise with everyday challenges faced by businesses.
The appointment will also see the agency support the group with making complex technology subjects more accessible, while building greater awareness of how its solutions support business continuity, operational efficiency and long-term growth.

The partnership comes as businesses increasingly rely on technology to sustain operations and support growth, facing problems such as ageing infrastructure, system disruptions, cybersecurity threats and limited in-house IT resources reach well beyond technology departments. Infoline, a public-listed Malaysian technology solutions and investment holding company, wants to become a leading voice on the subject.
“Businesses today aren’t simply looking for technology solutions,” said Arthur Too Yit Meng, chief marketing officer of Infoline Tec Group. “They need to know that their operations can continue running smoothly, their information is protected and their systems can support their growth.”
He added that Infoline wants to be a trusted source of guidance, helping businesses make more informed decisions before problems arise. With the brand identity established, he said, this next phase is about making the group’s expertise more relevant to the people it serves.
For DNA Creative Communications, the appointment is a chance to bring a fresh creative perspective to the traditionally technical B2B technology sector.
“Technology can be a difficult subject to communicate, but the challenges it addresses are often very human,” said Ashvin Anamalai, CEO and founder of the agency.
He said the approach is to start with problems people recognise and show how technology can make a difference, instead of asking them to care about technical specifications.
The appointment adds to DNA’s growing portfolio. The integrated agency, founded by Anamalai and Dan Iskandar, recently won the social media account for Etika’s Goodday Milk and Calpis Soda. Earlier this year, it was also appointed by Castrol Malaysia on a one-year retainer to handle strategic communications, media relations and content development for its consumer and B2B segments.
