Indonesian PR agency Image Dynamics has joined the Havas Village Jakarta team as part of an affiliate partnership agreement. The new partnership looks to round out the 360 offering for Havas that comprises 300 people in Jakarta across media, creative, data, digital, and now PR and activation.
Additionally, to support the Havas regional strategy for PR, Image Dynamics will become an official affiliate partner of the Red Agency APAC Group to further develop its Asia presence. Red Agency is Havas Group’s PR, social and experiential network in the region.
Following the move, the Image Dynamics team, which comprises 25 people, will moved to co-locate in the Havas Village in Jakarta. Before that, the agency had been partnering with Havas on a number of current client remits and new business opportunities, the statement added.
Image Dynamics started in 2004 with two consultants, co-founders Harry Tumengkol and Trishi Setiayu. This saw the agency servicing a local pharma company Jamu Puspo and a local commercial bank, PaninBank, as its first clients.
Agus Sudradjat (pictured right), chairman of Havas Jakarta, said in a statement that the network had been looking for a strategic PR partner for some time and that the Image Dynamics team has been a perfect fit.
“We think the same way, have the same values and enjoy working together. Bringing their team into our Village will make us stronger, providing a greater and more holistic value offer to clients. We look forward to delivering a successful partnership,” Sudradjat added.
Harry Tumengkol (pictured centre), partner and co-founder of Image Dynamics, said that that the agency will now have the resources and network support needed to grow the company and tap into a much wider market. This is in a bid to become a “stronger and a genuine leader in the Indonesian PR industry”.
“For 14 years we have been deeply proud of our achievements and status as an independent local PR firm. This partnership is a significant step in taking Image Dynamics to another level and become part of a global group,” Tumengkol explained.
“We will be working closely with them in the coming months to further integrate them into our group and bring them across our market leading methodologies, processes and thinking,” James Wright (pictured left), group CEO, Red Agency APAC, added.
