Furniture retailer Ikea has launched a new campaign to promote its new veggie balls.
The video spot for the campaign captures children’s reactions when they are served with a colourful plate of vegetables. Many are reluctant to take a bite out of vegetables. In contrast, the children are seen eagerly chowing down Ikea’s veggie balls when a plate is offered to them.
A caption at the end of the video reads: “Not as yucky as veggies, and just as good for you.”
BBH, Ikea’s creative agency of record, helped to execute the campaign made for the Singapore and Malaysia markets. The video can be found on Ikea’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
BBH’s previous work for Ikea includes the famous “BookBook” campaign which garnered various accolades in the region. Most recently the agency also created the film ‘Recipes for Delicious Kitchens’ to highlight IKEA’ s brand new IKEA METOD Kitchen range.
