HUGO BOSS has appointed Judith Sun (pictured) as managing director for Greater China.

In this position, Sun will be based in Shanghai and responsible for leading the company's China business and implementing the brand's strategic vision locally. In addition, she will develop the company's own retail, digital and wholesale business further in China. Sun boasts experience in the fashion and luxury-related industries. Having started her career in 1996, she most recently was managing director at Swarovski for Greater China. She started working for Swarovski in November 2017 and had spent almost four years at the company.

Before that, she was general manager, China franchisee management at Levi Strauss & Co from September 2013 and October 2017. Prior to that, she was vice president at Lee Cooper Garment (China). According to her LinkedIn, as the third licensee partner that the Lee Cooper UK Headquarters cooperated in the Greater China area, she helped Lee Cooper China officially restart the business in October 2011. In this position, she developed the company's five-year business strategy and plans; completed the first phase of the organisation structure build-up based on pre-set business strategy; completed retail shop image renovation; doubled the number of Lee Cooper retail stores from the end of 2011 to 2013; and grew retail sales revenue scale by 50% from 2011 to 2013.

In the earlier stage of her career, Sun worked for adidas China for more than 10 years, while her last position was field sales director. She led the development and implementation of account portfolio strategies and was responsible for the regional-based key accounts’ strategic sales planning, including trade terms planning, accounts product buying, store expansion, store productivity improvement, inventory management, and accounts’ capability improvement projects at the sales headquarter level. She also developed strong business relationships with regional-based key accounts’ senior management.

Before this position, she was retail marketing manager from March 2003 to November 2005, as well as apparel sales manager from July 2001 to February 2003.
