Science and technology agency, HTX (Home Team Science and Technology Agency) has teamed up with creative company, Blak Labs, for a new recruitment campaign titled “Shape the future". As part of the campaign, Blak Labs leveraged generative AI to create multiple video clips. Each video highlights the important role played by HTX in impacting Singapore’s safety and security with science and tech innovations.

Additionally, the campaign showcases how HTX’s engineers and scientists can contribute to life-saving efforts, border security enhancements and crime-solving endeavours.

In the videos, Blak Labs leveraged generative AI and real-life elements to create hyper-realistic scenes of the future. Such scenes include a disaster zone with autonomous search and rescue drones and robots, an immigration checkpoint featuring barrier-free immigration facilitated by biometric clearance, and a crime scene equipped with automated systems for evidence recovery and analysis.

Each video conveys the role and importance of the HTX employees working on the scenes. The campaign employed a multi-channel approach, encompassing digital out-of-home displays, platform screen doors at MRT stations, social media videos and online banners.

“We believe that our creative approach will resonate with STEM graduates, inspiring them to pursue impactful careers with HTX,” said Charlie Blower, managing partner at Blak Labs.  “This campaign allowed us to unleash our imagination, leveraging generative AI in a manner highly relevant to HTX’s communication objectives,” said Nick Tan, creative partner at Blak Labs.

Blak Labs isn’t the only creative company using a unique approach for their campaign. Recently, Samsung HK launched a campaign called “Cantonese Culture Festival” to embrace the Cantonese culture of Hongkongers.

It comes with Samsung's plan to expand its three new languages for Galaxy AI through language pack downloads, including Cantonese. It supports Cantonese in different features such as interpreter, note assist, transcript assist, call assist, and Samsung keyboard.
