Mother's Day has just passed but Hong Kong brands prepared for the festival weeks ago to celebrate. From an insurance company to shopping malls, we've put together the coverage from this year for you to enjoy!1. Blue's ‘Love Mom, Love Your Child’Digital insurer Blue has launched the campaign ‘Love Mom, Love Your Child’ to celebrate mothers who love and care for their families and to promote a family insurance product. The campaign was focused around educational videos about insurance knowledge presented by a child ambassador. 2. Swire Properties' upcycled “flowers” giveawayThe Swire Properties Community Ambassador Programme gave away 1,000 “upcycled” (i.e transformed from unwanted products) flowers used to create its “Love in Bloom” eco-art installation. Taking place on 11 May, a free DIY workshop, hosted by a professional floral designer, taught participants how to handcraft a special bouquet to thank their mothers.3. APM exhibition doubles down on Mother’s Day and extended China Labour DaySun Hung Kai Properties’ apm mall – located in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong – has launched an exhibition to attract customers. The exhibition is divided into five sections. Specifically; a five-metre tall house decorated with sticky tape, a “selfie wall”, a mural, a photo booth, and a small market showcasing handicrafts. 4. Harbour City’s “Beauty Bloom Perfume Garden” goes big for Mother’s DayHarbour City is launching its annual beauty campaign until 26 May, featuring a “Beauty Bloom Perfume Garden” created by Japanese artist Kuniyoshi Mitsuru. The exhibition also includes 50 styles of selected brand fragrances, alongside numerous beauty brands promotions. To celebrate Mother’s Day, customers can redeem a paper flower artwork created by Mitsuru and a selected miniature fragrance as a special gift on Mother’s Day upon onsite cash donation of HK$100 to Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
