HKTB and tvN Asia blend travel and romance in Pinoy dating reality show

A new kind of travel and dating experience has arrived on screen as tvN Asia, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), launches Love on the Clock - a Filipino reality dating series filmed entirely in Hong Kong. The eight-part show aims to capture both the excitement of modern dating and the city’s most vibrant attractions.

Hosted by Filipino personalities Juancho Triviño and Dawn Chang, Love on the Clock premiered on October 11 on TV5 and began airing on tvN Asia on October 17 (Fridays, 4:00 PM). The show follows six singles - three men and three women - as they compete in a series of challenges to earn “love points” and possibly find romance along the way.

“We’re thrilled to partner with tvN Asia on Love on the Clock, a series that beautifully captures the essence of Hong Kong as a city of love, energy, and vibrant experiences,” said Liew Chian Jia, regional director of Southeast Asia at the HKTB. “From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, the show offers audiences a fresh perspective on Hong Kong’s captivating appeal - whether you’re visiting for the first time or rediscovering it with someone special.”

Set against Hong Kong’s skyline and energetic pace, the show’s challenges take contestants across some of the city’s most recognisable and Instagram-worthy spots - from the romantic “love locks” mission at The Peak, to treasure-hunt photo quests in Central Market, water sports at Go Park Aqua, and roller skating at Buns 2020.

Other filming locations include Victoria Harbour, Aqua Luna, and Hutong restaurant, offering sweeping views and intimate settings for budding connections.

The cast includes singer-songwriter and visual artist Pupa Dadivas, painter Victoria Fabella, and “Landi Tip Queen” Dani Buenvenida, alongside actor-content creator Jomari Angeles, indie actor Ron Angeles, and model-actor Polo Laurel. Throughout the series, the six live together at Social House by Weave Living, a co-living space where friendships and rivalries take shape between daily challenges.

Love on the Clock captures the excitement of discovering both a new destination and a new connection,” said Michael Jung, managing director of CJ ENM Hong Kong. “Through this series, we hope to inspire audiences to see Hong Kong not just as a travel destination, but as a city where love and adventure come alive.”

As the daters navigate missions and moments of vulnerability, hosts Juancho and Dawn take on the roles of both cupid and confidant, offering reflections and advice that add warmth and humour to the show’s romantic undertones.

The series marks the first Filipino reality dating show filmed in Hong Kong - and serves as a creative collaboration between entertainment and tourism, positioning the city as not just a backdrop for love stories, but a character in them.
