Beauty online marketplace Hermo has now partnered with cosmetics brands L’Oreal in a bid to be the first full-listings e-commerce supplier for L’Oreal’s brands online in Malaysia.
All the other brands under L’Oreal group, namely, L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Biotherm and Clarisonic will officially appear on Hermo starting 1 August 2015.
Hermo currently features various internationally renowned luxury brands from Korea to Taiwan, the likes of Laneige, Nature Republic, Dr. Jart+, Acca Kappa, Boujoir Paris, Hada Labo and Tony Moly, whilst also featuring a variety of affordable brands catered to young savvy shoppers.
Boasting a traffic rate of 550,000 visitors each month with 100,000 users, Hermo caters to a nation-wide target audience comprising 95% females aged 18-45 years old.
“In the earlier days of Hermo’s humble beginnings, it was very difficult to convince big and renowned brands to go online with Hermo as they were more comfortable and sure of their traditional marketing channels. With this very exciting and promising partnership with L’Oreal, the market leader in Malaysia, consumers can now have their favorite L’Oreal make-up remover or Maybelline Mascara delivered directly to their doorsteps,” Ian Chua, co-Founder, Hermo, said.
