Havas Worldwide's Dan Gibson moves out of Asia

Dan Gibson (pictured), group managing director of Havas Worldwide Singapore and HOST Singapore has left his role after almost two years with the company.

He has now taken up a new role at the agency's London office, several sources confirmed to Marketing.

In December 2013, Havas Worldwide appointed Gibson, who was managing director for Host Singapore, to concurrently lead Havas Worldwide Singapore as group MD.

Prior to taking on the role of MD at Host, Gibson was managing director of Ogilvy Advertising for almost two years. Before that he was head of account management at 180 Amsterdam and was global business lead on the Adidas account. Prior to this, Gibson served as account director at BBH London for five years.

At Host Singapore, Gibson helped grow the agency by clinching accounts such as Coca-Cola’s Stills portfolio, global work for Unilever’s Lux brand, Google, Topshop, Citibank and SMRT.

In July, one of Havas' biggest clients NTUC Fairprice moved its creative account to ADK.
