Havas Media appoints China’s head of strategy

Havas Media Group has promoted Dennis Potgraven to the newly created role of head of strategy for the Greater China region.

Potgraven will relocate to Shanghai where he will oversee the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan strategy teams. He will work closely with existing clients while supporting new business activities in the region.

He moves into the new role after having spent two years with Havas Media Hong Kong as head of strategy. From 2012 to 2014 he was with Havas Media in Amsterdam as strategy director, where he worked with clients including Hyundai, Kia, Disney, KLM, Danone, Coty, LG, Reckitt Benckiser, Peugeot.

With 15 years of experience on client’s side, he has worked mainly in FMCG and retail industries with Nestlé, Friesland Campina and Ahold.

Christophe Cases, deputy global managing director and CEO of Havas Greater China, said, “Dennis is a pure marketing strategist who has proven to help our clients reaching their business results.”
