Guenes first joined Havas in 2002 as director of finance and operations. Based in Germany, he elevated in his career with the agency, taking on a chief financial officer role for Southeast Asia and South Korea in 2011.
“It has been a privilege to work with Havas Group in various leadership roles in multiple geographies in Europe and APAC over the past 17 years. I wish chairman and CEO Havas Group APAC, Mike Amour, and the team at Havas Group APAC well with its future development,” Guenes said.
Amour said Guenes has made a significant contribution to Havas Group’s business in APAC, including helping accelerate creative presence in Southeast Asia, as well as implementing a comprehensive M&A strategy for accelerated inorganic growth in the region. “We wish Guenes the very best with his next chapter,” he added.
