One year after appointing Devi Attamimi (pictured left) as group CEO, Hakuhodo International Indonesia (HIID) is strengthening its leadership bench and sharpening its focus on creative technology and AI-driven transformation.
As part of the leadership reshuffle, Daisuke Yanaoka (pictured right) will succeed Yuzuru Iguchi as country director, while also taking on the role of group COO. Iguchi will shift his focus to responsibilities in other markets.
Previously serving as president director of H3, one of the companies under HIID, Yanaoka was credited for strengthening client relationships and building an aggressive, agile team. According to the company, the appointment reflects its push to improve organisational synergy and accelerate its transformation efforts.

At the same time, HIID said it is continuing its ambition to position itself as a creative technology company through the expansion of its AI-driven capabilities, including Virtual Sei-katsu-sha. The solution is designed to support areas such as marketing strategy, product development, organisational design and ideation. HIID said the tool aims to help clients improve marketing efficiency, make more agile decisions and create stronger brand experiences.
Alongside the leadership changes, HIID also unveiled a new visual identity introduced by Hakuhodo headquarters in Tokyo.
According to the company, the refreshed identity reflects a more dynamic and forward-moving organisation, with a focus on flexibility, openness and creativity in motion. It also signals Hakuhodo’s continued push to evolve with changing market demands while co-creating business and societal value with partners.
The redesign also reflects HIID’s focus on experimentation and adaptability as it looks to stay relevant in an increasingly evolving market.
“Over the past year, we have laid the foundation and expanded our specialties. This next step is about strengthening how we move forward together with clearer focus, faster execution, and deeper integration to support our clients’ growth," said Attamimi.
Speaking on his new role, Yanaoka said, "I look forward to driving deeper integration across all HIID companies to fully harness our collective synergies. By seamlessly uniting our creative and technological capabilities, we will deliver even more relevant and impactful solutions for our clients.”
Irfan Ramli, chairman of Hakuhodo International Indonesia, said the transformation reflects HIID’s long-term ambition to build a stronger and more future-ready organisation, adding that the leadership changes and evolving ways of working are aimed at creating greater value for clients and partners.
Meanwhile, Naoyuki Kawakita, ASEAN regional COO, described Indonesia as a key market in Hakuhodo’s ASEAN strategy. He added that the combination of Yanaoka’s leadership and Attamimi’s expertise is expected to accelerate HIID’s growth and expand its impact across the region.
The latest leadership changes come as Hakuhodo continues to reshape its operations across Southeast Asia. In March, Hakuhodo International Thailand introduced a new leadership structure aimed at driving growth and organisational transformation.
As part of the changes, Koki Ito was appointed group CEO, while Jirapat Kanchanosot joined as group co-CEO. Meanwhile, Naoyuki Kawakita took on an expanded regional role to strengthen collaboration and support long-term growth across Thailand and ASEAN markets.
