Grey Group Singapore nabs Leo Burnett’s social lead

Grey Group Singapore has hired Suresh Ramaswamy as digital lead – regional director, Southeast Asia. He will report to Subbaraju Alluri, CEO of Grey Group Singapore.

Prior to Grey, Ramaswamy (pictured) was the regional director of social & mobile for Leo Burnett Singapore, where he worked on brands such as P&G and Friesland Campina ASEAN. During his time at Leo Burnett, he was the strategic lead for Samsung’s social media strategy and implementation across APAC and MENA.

Ramaswamy began his advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather, and has since held senior planning and servicing roles across Asia and America at Modem Media, BLUE Interactive, Publicis, Possible and Wunderman. Over the course of his career, he has led accounts including IBM, Citibank, Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts, Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Cisco Systems, Unilever, Singapore Airlines, SAP and Johnson & Johnson.

“Ramaswamy is able to deliver innovative and forward-thinking solutions to challenges faced in the digital field. His ability spans from strategizing and conceptualising to execution and implementation in the digital and data analytics domain. He is a welcome addition to the Grey family,” said Alluri.
