Grey Singapore appoints new executive vice president

WPP's Grey Group Singapore has appointed Konstantin Popovic as executive vice president, global business director for GSK.He will report to Alina Kessel, executive vice president, managing director global client service, and Nirvik Singh, chairman & CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific.Popovic will be overseeing Grey’s GSK consumer healthcare portfolio across APAC and managing Panadol globally. Popovic began his career at BBDO in Germany before moving on to its Chicago and New York offices. While at BBDO, Popovic led brands ranging from Wrigley, Johnson & Johnson and Best Buy.Prior to Grey, Popovic was in Publicis New York where he was the brand agency leader for P&G’s Digestive Wellness and PGT (Procter & Gamble Company and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries) Healthcare brands. In that role, he led a team of seven agencies across all marketing disciplines to generate integrated ideas.A digital innovator, Popovic launched a user-generated content (UGC) based campaign the and was the global capability lead on Publicis’ real-time marketing engine.“Popovic has the mind of a brand strategist with powerful creative thinking and a reputation of being a strong and effective leader.
