Green GSM Philippines has entered a strategic partnership with Philippine National Bank (PNB), aimed at supporting the expansion of its all-electric ride-hailing operations and strengthening the financial infrastructure behind its growing mobility ecosystem.
The agreement combines financing support with digital banking services, as Green GSM seeks to scale its presence across key urban centres in the Philippines and build the long-term operational foundations required for sustainable growth.
Under the partnership, PNB will provide a 2-billion-peso (US$32 million) credit facility to support fleet expansion and operational capacity. The collaboration also introduces digital account management and payment solutions for Green GSM's driver network, with digitised onboarding processes designed to reduce account opening and activation times.

Green GSM has been steadily expanding its footprint in the Philippines through a series of partnerships. Following its collaboration with Xentro Group in 2025 and the launch of the Green Xentro fleet in Rizal earlier this year, the company has continued to strengthen ties with local partners and institutions to support its growth ambitions.
"We appreciate Green GSM's long-term development direction in the Philippines, not only in advancing low-emission mobility, but also in the way the company is building an operating model with scalability and clear governance foundations," said Edwin R. Bautista, president and CEO of PNB.
"The transition toward sustainable transport will require ecosystems capable of supporting stable long-term growth, together with the financial and operational foundations needed to enable that expansion."
Le Thi Thu Trang, CEO of Green GSM Philippines, said the partnership extends beyond vehicle deployment and is focused on strengthening the company's operating capabilities.
"For Green GSM, developing an all-electric mobility model is not only about expanding the fleet, but also about building an operating system that is stable, standardised, and capable of sustainable long-term growth. Our partnership with PNB will help strengthen the financial and operational foundations needed to enhance service quality and support Green GSM's continued expansion in the Philippines."
Green GSM operates an all-electric ride-hailing model powered by VinFast electric vehicles and supported by technology-driven operational systems, real-time monitoring capabilities and a network of professionally trained drivers.
The company said the latest partnership reinforces its long-term commitment to the Philippine market by enhancing its service standards, driver support programmes and operational capabilities as it scales.
Green GSM Philippines forms part of the wider Green SM ecosystem, which includes Xanh SM in Vietnam and Laos, as well as Green SM in Indonesia.
