Grab has collaborated with brand partners including Secret Recipe, Domino’s, Fashion Valet, Klook, LANEIGE, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Baskin Robbins for #PekSenangRaya through its platform. It is a comprehensive all-in-one festive pack for Muslims featuring offline and online discounts, rebates and rewards this Ramadan and the Hari Raya celebrations.
Users can purchase the pack from now until 17 June and enjoy offers up to RM600 in value. Additionally, Grab will also be including Ramadan-themed widgets in its app that offer Muslims with prayer times and locations of the nearest mosque for prayers to help them observe their religious obligations this Ramadan.
In a statement to A+M, Grab’s spokesperson said that it will leverage its app, social media and Grab cars to raise awareness about the campaign. It will also engage key opinion leaders and selected online media to help promote the #PekSenangRaya pack.
The spokesperson added that it is bringing back its BokBokBokBuster chicken campaign, which was launched in March this year, specially for Ramadan beginning 13 May. The campaign features chicken from various restaurants including Texas Chicken, Indie Cafe Chicken and Classic Lim Fried Chicken.
Meanwhile, Grab’s spokesperson added that it is extending the operating hours of its GrabFood service from 12 am to 2 am within Klang Valley to cater to the needs of those who are fasting. GrabFood also recently launched the GrabFood subscription plan to allow customers to order meals at an affordable price.
Iris Chang, Grab Malaysia’s country marketing head, said the partnership offers customers a holistic convenience and ease that saves them time and money to order what they need both offline and online and pay for it, while enjoying discounts, rebates and rewards.
“This allows them to spend more time with their loved ones while together reflecting and preparing for the season,” Chang added.
