GolinHarris has appointed Rachel Norager (pictured) as executive director and head of its healthcare practice in Singapore.
In this new role, Norager will lead GolinHarris’ pharmaceutical clients and work closely with the agency’s Virgo Health brand to grow the healthcare practice business across the region.
Norager will report to Christina Cheang, regional managing director of GolinHarris Southeast Asia. Norager will be tasked with handling operations on a local as well as regional level.
Cheang told Marketing that the agency has further plans to beef up its regional operations and expand its team post the acquisition of Virgo Health.
Virgo Health was initially set up in UK in 2003 and was acquired by Golin Harris (GH) last year, extending its geographical reach with a network of 38 offices across North America, Europe and Asia, including emerging markets. In addition the GH-Virgo collaboration also sees the agency form a new global digital health speciality practice called Go Digital Health, which combines Virgo’s healthcare heritage with GolinHarris’s digital insights.
Prior to GolinHarris, Norager led major projects such as Roche Asia-Pacific Scientific Partnership for HER2 testing Excellence (SPHERE) in breast and gastric cancer and SPAF in Asia advisory board series for Boehringer Ingelheim. She also organised congress activities for Crucell at the World Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (2012).
