Healthcare company Roche has named Golin Hong Kong to lead its communications in Hong Kong and Macau.

The Hong Kong partnership has seen Golin support Roche through an internal transformation; providing strategic guidance on change communications and employee engagement throughout the process.

Broadening the scope to external communications, Golin Hong Kong is also assisting Roche in activities such as strategic planning, thought leadership and media relations, to further help the healthcare company to position itself as a scientific innovation leader, a provider of life-saving and life-improving medicines, and an incubator for healthcare business in Hong Kong.

“We’ve seen incredible advancements already this year in areas such as big data, personalised healthcare, and innovative technology. Whether it be individuals, governments or companies, people worldwide are turning their attention to the importance of health. In a time where care is more vital than ever, we couldn’t be more proud and more ready to support Roche in the extraordinary work they’re doing for patients across the globe," said Jane Morgan, managing director of Golin Hong Kong.

At the moment, Golin works with Roche in several markets globally, including the US, the UK, China, and now, Hong Kong.

"As the world works together to cope with the long-lasting effects of COVID-19, Roche stands ready to contribute to the process of creating innovations for a healthier future. Golin has already demonstrated tremendous support to Roche and we look forward to deepening the partnership as we continue to advance science to deliver better outcomes for more patients faster," said Daniel Thurley, general manager of Roche Hong Kong and Macau.
