Globe is marking the 10th anniversary of its 917 GDay, its annual tradition of gratitude, by taking celebrations beyond Metro Manila and bringing joy, rewards, and meaningful experiences directly to communities nationwide. At its heart, the event honours the trust and connections Globe has built with its customers, showcasing #AlagangGlobe care - its ongoing commitment to enriching lives and advancing digital inclusion.
Earlier in September, Globe launched pop-up booths in Bulacan (Tanglawan Fest), Manila (U-Belt), Dasmariñas, Davao, and Naga City, offering customers exclusive promotions, partner giveaways, and engaging activities designed to make everyday moments special.
“GDay has always been about recognising our loyal customers. This year, as we mark a decade of GDay, we’re making the celebration more personal by bringing it closer to the communities we serve,” said Bianca Wong, VP and head of Globe’s Feel Valued Tribe. “These pop-ups reflect how Globe knows and celebrates our customers, giving them experiences that are both memorable and made just for them.”

The nationwide celebration continued across several key cities. In Caloocan City, GDay booths were set up from 26 to 28 September at the BTMO Office. Cebu City has been hosting multiple activations at Sugbo Mercado in Lahug since 19 September.
The festivities will next move to Cagayan de Oro City, where booths are scheduled from 3 to 5 October at Carmen Public Market. Tuguegarao City will see GDay’s presence from 17 to 19 October at Rizal’s Park, while Bacolod City will join the celebration during the MassKara Festival from 17 to 19 October along Lacson Street.
These pop-ups are part of the broader month-long 917 GDay 2025 festivities, which also included GDay Surprise Gift pop-ups in Dumaguete and Trinoma on 29 and 30 August, a BINI Fan Meet on 13 September at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre, and the G Fair at the BGC Amphitheater on 19 and 20 September. The ongoing G Raffle Rush, which runs until 31 October, offers customers the chance to win life-changing prizes.
Customers can also join the celebrations online via the GlobeOne app, Globe’s all-in-one platform for managing accounts, tracking usage, paying bills, and unlocking rewards and exclusive experiences.
The company continues to emphasise its commitment to celebrating its customers, reinforcing that every day can be a GDay. Listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Globe delivers mobile, broadband, data, and managed services to consumers and businesses. In August, it marked its 50th year as a publicly listed company with a ceremonial bell-ringing at the PSE trading floor in BGC.
“I’m deeply grateful for the trust you place in us to be part of your everyday moments,” Globe president and CEO Carl Cruz said in a LinkedIn post. “We will keep bringing you reliable connectivity and thoughtful, hyperpersonalised surprises while advancing digital inclusion for every Filipino. Let’s make every day a GDay.”
