Genki! Malaysia, a company that manufactures and sells disposable baby diapers, has appointed FALCON Agency Malaysia, a digital agency, in July to handle its digital marketing duties for six months with an option for a one-year extension.FALCON Agency will manage Genki!'s social media platforms and work on a few creative campaigns, as well as develop the company's official website in Malaysia.According to Genki! Malaysia's managing director, Michael Chew, FALCON Agency was chosen because it showed a "deep understanding" of the digital consumption of Malaysian mums. The agency also proposed a "differentiated digital approach" to cut through the digital clutter and reach Genki!'s target audience."We are confident that together we will drive more exciting digital activities and connect with our Malaysian mums," he added.“Genki! is a challenger brand in the local Malaysia baby diaper market. We are excited to work with the client who has shown an appetite for creative and effective work”, Daniel Endres, managing director at FALCON Agency Malaysia said.In May, Tokio Marine Asia appointed FALCON Agency for social strategy, digital content creation, campaign support and community management. The agency also made three hires earlier this year to bolster its creative team. Marcel Wessling was named creative director, while Lim Seng Seong and Chia Yau Fai were appointed creative group head and senior copywriter respectively. Last year, it also announced the appointment of Kelvin Koo as a partner and managing director for the Singapore operations.
