Gaviscon asks Malaysians to get creative with their food photos

It’s a widely-known fact that Malaysians love food – so much so that the greeting “Have you eaten?” is more popular than “How are you?”

Banking on the trend, this year, Gaviscon Malaysia has invited Malaysians to share their Chinese New Year food photos and stand a chance to win ang pows worth a total of RM10,000. The campaign, even before Chinese New Year began, received over 1,435 entries. Meanwhile #GavisconSG received 794 entries.

The other campaign hashtags such as #CNYHochiak featured, garnered a total of 2,280 entries. The campaign will run until the end of the month.

Omer Shafiq, general manager of RB Malaysia and Singapore said: “We place great emphasis on consumers’ health and well-being as it is one of the main pillars of the company’s vision. As such, we are deeply committed to make a difference in the lives of our consumers by making them feel well-taken care of through our selection of innovative products.”
