Futsal court builder Ark Sports Management has appointed brand consultancy 8traordinary as its branding and marketing agency. 8traordinary’s remit includes brand consultancy, social media, content strategy, marketing and sponsorship management.
The appointment is for one year. Jeffrey Lim, founder and managing director of 8traordinary told Marketing that Ark Sports Management aims to expand and needs expertise in branding, content, digital and sponsorship to scale regionally.
Ark Sports Management owns soccer school First Kick Academy and The Ark Futsal, which manages futsal venues across Singapore. The latest pitch on its portfolio is on the rooftop at Funan, and boasts to be tech-enabled from booking to payment, and facilities management.
Jimmy Beh, founder of Ark Sports Management, said the company is on the lookout for ways to improve, both through its products and services, as well as its brand positioning.
“I am very happy to appoint 8traordinary as our branding consultant to embark on this new transformation for both First Kick Academy and The Ark Futsal venues. I am confident that 8traordinary has the ability and network to bring our brands to the next level,” he added.
Meanwhile, Lim said sports is one of the most powerful mediums that has an ability to cross geographical, cultural, and language barriers. Given the right nudge and guidance, he aims to utilise both social and digital for not just the business or sport entity, but also the participants and community.
“Ark Sports Management has strong foundations in setting up futsal facilities, as well as planned soccer programmes for children in Singapore. 8traordinary was founded by former general manager and principal consultant of Carbon Interactive Singapore, Jeffrey Lim in April this year. The consultancy has already bagged clients in the retail malls, consumer product, health and beauty sectors such as Millenia Walk (a property of the Pontiac Land Group), Toshiba, and SkinSoul Switzerland in its debut year.
