Fitness First inks 3-year deal with Singapore National Olympic Council

Fitness First has inked a three-year sponsorship deal with Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC). The agreement will see Fitness First sponsor a total of SG$1.3 million in international memberships to support the long-term athlete development of TeamSG.

With this partnership, Fitness First will become the official fitness partner of the SNOC.

With this infrastructure in place, athletes will be able to access the network of Fitness First clubs and its offerings located around the world. The partnership also aims to strengthen the support for Team Singapore athletes on their path to Rio 2016 Olympic Games and the Youth Olympic Games, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games in 2018.

Fitness First will focus its resources significantly on developing athletes that currently have established a foothold at the National level, with hopes to achieve a placing at the regional, continental and international major games.

Chris Chan, secretary-general of the SNOC, said, “We are excited to welcome Fitness First on board as a key partner to support the long term development of our athletes. We are confident that their network of clubs islandwide and excellent training facilities will complement the current range of facilities and training programmes provided to our athletes.”

Simon Flint, CEO for Fitness First Asia said, “With this partnership with the Singapore National Olympic Council, we are increasing our commitment to developing Singapore’s talent, as well as growing the nation’s fitness and sporting culture.”
