FIC expands Michael Dick’s role

International multi-media business FOX International Channels (FIC) has expanded Michael Dick’s (pictured) role as vice president of acquisitions.

From overseeing Hong Kong & Southeast Asia markets, Dick will now cover all of Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

For his expanded APAC and Middle East responsibilities, Dick reports to Joon Lee, who holds a dual role of executive vice president of content & communications for Asia Pacific & the Middle East, and managing director for Hong Kong & Southeast Asia.

Dick is responsible for acquiring content for FIC’s portfolio of entertainment channels across the region, which includes network’s US series channels FOXCrime, FX, and its flagship property FOX; Hollywood movie channels FOX Movies Premium, FOX Family Movies and FOX Action Movies; and female-targeted GE channel StarWorld.

His remit will also include securing lifestyle content for the National Geographic channel brands.

He will work in conjunction with each channel’s programming head and each market’s general manager on FIC’s overarching content acquisition strategy for the region and execution of deals.
