Luxury fashion brand Ferragamo has revealed K-pop star Jeno Lee as its first global male ambassador, according to the brand which announced the news on its Instagram page.
As part of the collaboration, Lee, who is part of the Korean group NCT, modeled looks from the fashion house's pre-fall 2023 look which he was also photographed in.
The partnership “seals the relationship between Ferragamo and Lee, who started building ties prior to this announcement,” said Ferragamo in its statement.
Speaking of the collaboration, creative director Maximilian Davis said, “We’re driven by the same passion in our creativity and feel fortunate to have him join Ferragamo.”
Adding on, Lee said that he was very excited to create a synergy with the brand and revealing future projects.
Lee joins a host of Korean stars who have fronted major fashion brands in the last few months. Recently, South Koren actress Han So Hee was appointed as Charles & Keith's latest global ambassador.
“Han So Hee embodies the spirit of Charles & Keith with her authentic individuality, confidence and creativity. We are delighted to welcome her onboard the Charles & Keith's family and inspire new possibilities together,” said brand co-founder, Keith Wong.
Han So Hee is set to star in the brand’s Fall Winter 2023 campaign which will be unveiled in the third quarter of 2023, according to a statement.
Shortly after, Charles & Keith brought South Korean girl group ITZY onboard as part of its summer 2023 collection promotions.
Charles & Keith initially appointed ITZY as its global brand ambassador in August 2022. The group fronted the brand’s Fall 2022 campaign. The campaign spoke a distinct visual language, confident and commanding. A celebration of freedom and authenticity, the girls show how they remain true to their style.
With the partnership, Charles & Keith also launched a 3D video this year featuring the group at the world-famous crosswalk in Shinjuku, Tokyo. In the ad, the girl group shares the limelight with Charles & Keith’s cocoon curved handle bag. Colourful and exuberant, the video encapsulates the brand’s latest seasonal collection.
