EZ-Link has picked Maiplay, publisher of Perx, mobile marketing and loyalty platform, for its first transit rewards program – the EZ-Link Rewards Scheme with Perx. The program aims to reward users for using the ez-link card for travel on public buses and trains.Users can earn points automatically upon linking their ez-link cards to their free Perx accounts. Users can use the earned points to redeem rewards and exclusive deals from a catalogue. They can then redeem products and services from food and beverage, fashion, limousine, beauty & wellness, and lifestyle establishments. Each Perx account can be linked to up to 10 ez-link cards. Trips taken on SMRT/SBS buses and MRT trains with any linked ez-link card entitles the Perx user to points which can be tracked on the Perx mobile application. Every trip taken with an Adult Anonymous ez-link card will earn the user 25 points, while every trip with ez-link co-branded cards will earn the user 50 points.Nicholas Lee, chief executive officer, EZ-Link, said, “EZ-Link continually pushes the boundaries to make every tap with ez-link a rewarding and fun experience. We are pleased to work with Perx to introduce the EZ-Link Rewards Scheme, to reward ez-link users for something they do every day - taking trains and buses.”Anna Gong, chief executive officer of Maiplay, parent company of Perx, said, “This transit rewards program with EZ-Link enables Perx to expand our network and user base. Through the Perx mobile app, EZ-Link will be able to provide their transit riders attractive rewards just for riding the MRT and buses.”Image: Shutterstock
