Emirates has officially launched its first-ever travel store in Jakarta, marking a milestone in the airline's commitment to delivering world-class travel experiences to its customers in Indonesia. This launch follows the successful rollouts of Emirates travel stores in Hong Kong and Manila, as part of the airline's ongoing expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
"We are thrilled to launch our latest Emirates travel store in Indonesia. With this new store, we aim to bring the world-class Emirates service closer to our loyal customers," Orhan Abbas, senior vice president, commercial operations, Far East Emirates, said in a release.
"The store reflects our commitment to excellence in service, customer satisfaction, and creating unforgettable travel experiences. By blending cutting-edge technology with our professional team, we want customers to experience the distinctive Emirates touch from the moment they begin planning their journey, not just when they are in the air."

The new 221-square-metre retail space is located at Sequis Tower, with the grand opening officiated by Abbas. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Y.M. Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, as well as business partners and media representatives.
The travel store in Jakarta is designed to offer a personalised, immersive travel experience in a single, exclusive location for customers in Indonesia. It features a modern interior design, blending exclusive, comfortable furnishings with contemporary décor.
The soft cream and white hues of the sofas and the lounge-like atmosphere create the perfect space for customers to relax before consulting with Emirates' travel experts. Customers can also browse a selection of exclusive Emirates merchandise and premium travel accessories, displayed at the centre of the store.
Four customer service counters have been set up to handle a wide range of needs, from booking and purchasing flight tickets to offering the latest updates on Emirates' products, services, and new destinations. Trained travel consultants are on hand to ensure that each visit is personalised and memorable from the moment customers enter the store.
One of the major highlights of the Emirates travel store is the Ghaf tree installation, the national tree of the UAE. This feature is displayed above an LED screen that presents historical information about Emirates, as well as highlights of its most popular destinations and exclusive offers.
Near the entrance, an interactive LED selfie screen invites visitors to take photos with the backdrop of iconic Emirates destinations. These photos can be instantly downloaded via QR code, integrating technology into the in-store experience.
Emirates' Jakarta travel store is the first to feature a queue management system, providing a smoother retail experience for customers and Emirates Skywards members. This system not only reduces wait times but also allows customers to submit feedback and suggestions about their experience via WhatsApp.
Emirates connects passengers to more than 140 destinations across six continents. In Indonesia, the airline has been serving customers for over three decades with daily flights from Jakarta and Denpasar to Dubai. It is currently the only airline operating daily A380 services to Bali, significantly increasing seat capacity for customers travelling to and from the island.
