Emirates and Arsenal ink major sponsorship deal

Emirates and Arsenal Football Club have signed a new sponsorship deal which is said to be one of "the largest ever signed by the club and one of the biggest ever agreed in football". The partnership grants the airline a five-year extension to have its branding on the athlete's shirts until the end of the 2023-2024 season.In addition, Arsenal’s home will continue to be known as Emirates Stadium up to 2028, as part of the extension agreed in 2012. As shirt sponsors, the Emirates brand will continue to appear on Arsenal’s playing and training kits, and in return, Emirates will provide access to its award winning planes for Arsenal to use on pre-season tours.Emirates will also retain marketing rights to develop campaigns and initiatives around the world. The shirt partnership between Emirates and Arsenal first began in the 2006-2007 season.
