Effective Measure hires Singapore MD

Digital audience profiling and measurement company Effective Measure has appointed its first country managing director, Sammy Elazab.

Elazab (pictured) will report to Dinesh Arasaratnam, regional MD, SEA.

In his newly created role, Elazab will lead Effective Measure’s business development efforts in Singapore.

He is tasked to drive major client initiatives and develop local media and publishing industry alliance strategies to accelerate digital adoption.

He joins the Effective Measure executive team from Tribal Fusion, a division of Exponential Interactive where he was digital sales manager across the Southeast Asia region. Prior to that he was based in the UK where he was most recently the online partnership manager at carrier O2 Telefónica UK and held previous roles at AOL Advertising.

Elazab added Singapore is the right market for Effective Measure as the “e-commerce side is still underdeveloped” and “there is a need to provide the digital industry detailed audience insight”.

Effective Measure founder James Robertson said the company is “developing its presence in Southeast Asia and Singapore” and has been “working hard over the last 18 months” to “establish strong alliances” in the local market.

Currently the Singapore office also includes key regional South East Asia executives, Dinesh Arasaratnam, regional MD, SEA and Steve Kaiser, director of research,SEA. Also based in the Singapore office is James Robertson, founder and global key accounts & business development.
